Abstract

Introduction: This experience report portrays the need for updating, restructuring and defining clear responsibilities that promote the expected performance of Supporters of COSEMS-GO municipal health management. Objective: The general objective is to describe the restructuring process of the Support Strategy of the Council of Municipal Health Departments of Goiás. Methodology: The actions developed were categorized to meet specific objectives: Definition of institutional guidelines and description of the duties of the COSEMS-GO Facilitator and Supporters, based on critical-reflective discussions of the Summary of the Collaborative Network Project and the institution's Statute; Dialogue and Transparency, through the creation of a shared folder on Google Drive and the implementation of a BI Panel containing the results of Supporters' reports; Qualification through conversation circles with qualified professionals in specific areas; Ethical guidelines with the aim of strengthening non-violent communication, participation and effective positioning in discussions, co-responsibility, as well as promoting interpersonal relationships; and Alignment, monitoring and feedback during meetings practiced on an ongoing basis. Final Considerations: When implementing organizational strategies, it is possible to conclude that COSEMS-GO Supporters need to be aligned and organized to meet the dynamism of health actions and services in each territory. To this end, access to information in a timely manner, as in the case of the BI panel and the establishment of continuous discussion spaces, are relevant strategies to encourage informed and safe discussions during the planning and decision-making process that meet the institution's final objectives, in the various spaces. However, such organizational actions are also dynamic and deserve to be continually evaluated and adapted according to the expected results.
